What is Pronation?
Pronation or ‘Proning’ is the process of Invert the patient lying in a special way, Lying on the stomach. It is required when the oxygen saturation in the body drops below 94%. This is a physician-recognized method that helps to breathe and get oxygen. This method is useful for covid patients who are in seclusion at home. In this way, it is convenient to breathe. Serious situations can be handled by following this method.
How to do it yourself
Firstly, take 4-5 pillows.
You have to turn around frequently while lying down.
Do not lie back for more than half an hour.
How to keep a pillow
A pillow from the bottom of the mouth to the throat.
A pillow near the feet.
Two pillows from chest to lower abdomen.
Methods of pronation.
Lying on the stomach for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Lying back on the right side for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Sitting on a pillow for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Lying back on the left side for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Important things to conform to.
Start after a break of at least half an hour after eating.
Do as long as you can easily. If the pain increases, you must consult a doctor.
Understanding the body can be done 16 hours a day.
Understand your own comfort and sometimes change the place of the pillow.
